Regulations on the Creation, Organization, and Activities of Public Councils at Kindergartens and Schools

Chapter One General Provisions
Art. 1. These regulations govern the terms and procedures for the creation, organization, and activities of public councils at kindergartens and schools.
Art. 2. The Public Council is a body for supporting the development of the kindergarten and the school and for civic control of their management.
Chapter Two Creation and Organization
Art. 3. A Public Council shall be established at every kindergarten and every school, with the exception of theological schools, evening schools, schools at places of imprisonment, correctional boarding schools, and socio-pedagogical boarding schools, as well as private kindergartens and private schools that do not receive funding from the state budget.
Art. 4. (1) The Public Council consists of an odd number of members and includes one representative of the financing authority and at least three representatives of the parents of children and students from the respective institution, and for schools providing vocational qualification training—also a representative of employers.

The mandate of the members of the Public Council at the Vocational High School of Stonemasonry is three years and is effective until December 31, 2022.
