On June 8, 2021, the Revival Stonemasonry Guild Association, thanks to a donation from the Vedur Association, organized a visit to the St. Ivan Rilski University of Mining and Geology in Sofia and other iconic landmarks in the city. These sites are of exceptional importance for the professional orientation and development of students from the Vocational High School of Stoneworking in Kunino.
The students explored and were impressed by the unique collections in the Museum of Geology and Paleontology and the Iliya Delev Museum of Unique Crystals at the St. Ivan Rilski University of Mining and Geology in Sofia. They also showed great interest in visiting the exhibition of the Bulgarian artist Konstantin Garnev at The Palace Gallery (National Gallery), the Academia Gallery of the National Academy of Arts, and the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.
Lunch and transport were provided for the students on the Kunino-Sofia-Kunino route. We are pleased to have successfully realized such a significant journey through the traces of Bulgarian art!
