On the occasion of the 178th anniversary of the birth of the poet and revolutionary Hristo Botev, a bust-monument of the school’s patron was solemnly inaugurated at the Hristo Botev Secondary School – second campus. The official opening was performed by the Mayor of Vratsa Municipality, Kalin Kamenov, the school director, Krasimir Bogdanov, and the President of the Student Council, Borislava Hristova. The idea for its construction originated from the Student Council of the Hristo Botev Secondary School. Since November 1, 2025, students have participated in a series of charitable initiatives through which they successfully realized their patriotic cause. The funds raised during the charity campaign amounted to 6,250 BGN.
We express our heartfelt gratitude; with a clear goal, drive, and patriotism, we restored the pedestal and constructed the surrounding area entirely free of charge!
The event was also attended by Member of Parliament Denitsa Simeonova, Regional Governor Nikolay Nikolov, municipal councilors, the Head of the Regional Management of Education Loreta Koleva, the former director of the Hristo Botev Secondary School Viktor Krastev, representatives of the school’s Public Council, teachers, and students.
