He is a recipient of the Union of Bulgarian Artists Award for Caricature (1967), the Ministry of Education Award (1979), and the &#8220;Joan Mir\u00f3&#8221; Award for Painting (1993). He was born on August 20, 1944, in Sevlievo. He graduated in Graphics and Illustration in Prague, Czech Republic. He has drawn more than 2,000 caricatures, designed and illustrated over 200 books, and created murals and frescoes in Sofia, Prague, Berlin, and other cities. He has organized over 15 solo exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad (Prague, Lisbon, Paris, Madrid, London, etc.).
